Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month is held each year in February to educate Australians by sharing the stories of real women affected by the disease. Each year in Australia around 1,500 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In most cases, ovarian cancer will be diagnosed at an advanced stage, where it is very difficult to treat. That is why is so important to spread awareness for the cause and educate women about ovarian cancer and its early symptoms.
We are lucky to be surrounded by such strong and powerful women at Fusion. This year we all came together for an ovarian cancer morning tea, where we helped spread awareness for the cause by educating about the symptoms and sharing our stories.
